A CAR boot sale in aid of the East Lancashire Hospice was so successful, volunteers have decided to make it a regular event.
Fund-raising volunteers Eileen Holden and Maureen Carter, of Blackburn, ran the stall on Blackburn College car park on bank holiday Monday and raised £189.
Eileen now plans to run a stall every month to raise cash for the £1.3million day care extension to the hospice at Park Lee, Blackburn.
Gifts of unwanted clothes and bric-a-brac can be taken to the hospice or call Eileen on 01254 665565 for collection.
