FOLLOWING last weeks article about a special family reunion for people with the surnames Tuson or Desoer, organiser Kathleen Hargreaves has revealed what a great response she has had to the appeal.
But we would like to inform readers that the reunion, to be held this Saturday (June 3) is at the Bay Horse Hotel, in Preston Road, Whittle-le-Woods, not the Bay Horse Hotel in Walton-le-Dale.
Kathleen, who was born in Leyland but now lives in Accrington, is trying to trace people along the ancestral line of her maternal grandparents.
She has already gathered a wealth of information from libraries and historical records, but wants to learn more, and is hoping this Saturday's gathering will help her.
