Further to my letter dated 18/05/00, regarding the lazy, selfish, so called 'motorists' who block the phone box and bus stop at the bottom of Black Bull Lane, Fulwood, I write to say the main culprits are still there.
Non-drivers have many advantages over motorists - we don't pollute the air, speed, cause accidents, kill, and block pavements, phone boxes or bus stops. We don't drink, use drugs or use mobile phones while driving and last but not least we are not daft enough to keep giving the government millions for their back pocket every year, unlike the 30 million mugs out there.
Most motorists have never heard of public transport, pavements or pedestrians, and only really notice pedestrians when wanting directions, otherwise we don't exist!
It's high time motorists got their act together, but how do you educate the totally selfish, lazy, dozy, brain dead and the terminally stupid?
