RONALD Lawrence Haworth, 38, of Cavendish Street, Darwen, was sent to Preston Crown Court for trial when he appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with two offences of raping a girl under the age of 16. Both offences are alleged to have been committed between January 1993 and December 1994.
Haworth was remanded on bail until his trial at the crown court.
