STARS and Stripes were out in force at Asda Rawtenstall yesterday as staff and customers celebrated American Independence Day.
The store championed all things American and shoppers were entertained by pupils from The Dance Studio who led line-dancing, cheerleading and American street-dance demonstrations.
Staff whizzed round the store on in-line skates and even the food was as American as apple pie as customers were offered USA food treats including doughnuts and cookies.
Asda staff Yvette Jackson and Lisa Keeble are pictured in their rollerblades with members of The Dance Studio (from left) Holly Buckley, 10, Alex Atkinson, nine, Louise Hocking, nine (front), and Vanessa Bradley, nine.
