KEEN cyclist Terry Unsworth is relying on pedal power to help raise cash for two good causes.
The 57-year-old married father-of-two, a sales manager at Brookhouse Composites Ltd, based at Darwen's famous India Mill, has joined 23 other Bike Aid cyclists for an exhausting five day bike event from Lands End to Blackpool. He set off yesterday.
The route is 452 miles long and proceeds, which are expected to reach £12,000, will be donated to the Christie's Against Cancer centenary appeal and the Royal Manchester Eye Hospital.
