FOLLOWING the indie chart success of their latest Car Crash EP, Blackburn's Tompaulin have been busy working on their next moves.
Singer/guitarist Jamie Holman said that the group had teamed up again with with producer Rob Ferrier, who worked on the EP, and they have recorded four new tracks. Although there is yet no release date, the band will be putting out a limited edition seven-inch after an invitation from London's Track and Field. Out on October 7 and limited to just 500 copies, it will feature It's a Girl's World, Second Rate Republic and My Perfect Girlfriend.
The group have also taken their intelligent poetic indie sounds to the BBC's Maida Vale studios for a Peel session, which should be aired soon.
