PRESTON North End are hoping skipper Sean Gregan will be available for the first two matches of the season.
It was feared the midfielder could miss the start of North End's Division One campaign after his sending off in a pre season friendly against Glentoran.
But Preston are still waiting to hear the outcome -- and are hopeful their captain will be leading the way in their opening game at Grimsby.
