AEROSPACE workers swapped the workshop for wildflowers.
A team of eight Airbus workers from BAE Systems at Samlesbury took part in a project to create a wildflower garden, plant shrubs and replace a ramshackle shed at Samlesbury CE primary school.
"It is great that our local major employer channelled some of its time and resources into helping a small village school," said headteacher Nick Cornall.
"They've helped us build something of long term benefit to the children here."
