TICKLED pink! That's Summerseat businessman Tony Tickle who has reaped rich returns via membership of Bolton and Bury Chamber.

His company, The Tickle Group, has won more than £100,000 of business in the past 18 months as a result of member-to-member networking.

The design group, which specialises in print and interactive media solutions, has added members Sashpoint Ltd, E.K. Williams International Ltd and Flexsys UK Ltd to its impressive client list.

"You get what you put into Chamber membership," says managing director Tony.

"If anybody thinks the work will come to them solely by joining the Chamber, they're mistaken.

"It is important to go along to the breakfast and talk-in lunches and get to know other members."

He added: "What the Chamber does give you, however, is a stamp of credibility. It certainly helped us recently in selling our credentials to the North West Aerospace Alliance.

"When I'm looking for business suppliers, I myself am impressed and reassured if they're a Chamber member."

Tony continued: "The sheer fact that they have taken the effort to join tends to demonstate that they're a credible organisation that's eager to succeed.

"I believe that working with the local Chamber should be an integral part of any company's marketing activities."
