ST HELENS and Knowsley Health Authority have been awarded £111,000 as part of a nationwide Government initiative to improve services for young patients who suffer from serious mental health problems.
The money, a share of £780,000 awarded to health authorities across the North West, will be used to increase the numbers of in-patient beds and other specialised services for children and young people suffering from mental health problems.
