A GROUP of Preston women put their best feet forward when they received a lottery grant from the town's mayor.
The Preston Sisters Afoot running club, which was set up two years ago, was awarded a £928 grant in July this year after applying to the Millennium Festival Awards for All fund last November.
The runners were presented with their award on Tuesday night by the Mayor of Preston, councillor Joe Hood.
