a service station owner today spoke out about the "unmentioned victims " of the petrol crisis.
Mike Eccles (pictured), the owner of Lock Mill Service Station, Ewood, Blackburn says he and many others have lost a full week of trade.
He added: "In all of this crisis nobody has mentioned petrol retailers. We are the only people who haven't been able to do any business. Others have been able to get by. I haven't sold a drop of fuel in seven days and have still had all the same overheads. I haven't had the heart to send staff home.
"I don't have any idea when the next tanker will arrive and although the shop is open and we do repairs, it has all had a knock on effect."
