CHORLEY Girls, in their first season, travelled to Preston for this pre-season friendly, but went home with their tails between their legs after being thrashed 10-0.
It was always going to be difficult for Chorley and sure enough Preston went ahead early.
Some nifty footwork saw Laura Walker cleverly round the keeper to score.
Preston scored their second soon after when Sarah Morgan showed great touch to turn and hit home a Walker cross.
And it was Walker who made it three when she seized on a poor clearance to score.
Preston quickly added two more, both well struck efforts from Siobhan Gaughan, before the half-time whistle which couldn't come quickly enough for the visitors.
But despite beind down, Chorley turned in an impressive performance at the beginning of the second period.
However, they couldn't find the back of the net and Preston capitalised when Morgan scored her second of the game and Melissa Carr finished off a good through ball.
Walker completed her hat-trick after good work by Keely Watt.
Gaughan then completed her hat-trick to make it nine before Morgan finished off the scoring.
