ONGOING restoration work on the Lancaster Canal has been given a new cash boost from the Inland Waterways Association.
The £4,500 grant will help funding the restoration of two bridges to the North of the city and the dredging of a 600 metre stretch of the canal at Millness.
The full restoration project will eventually cost £30 million, linking Kendal with the rest of the Inland Waterways Association.
