LANCASHIRE County Council is joining an international campaign to fight global warming.
Lancashire will join 21 other councils from across the country to take part in the 'UK council for climate protection' project which will link with other schemes in North America, Europe and Asia to test international approaches to fighting climate campaign.
Council deputy leader Frank McKenna said: "I am sure our involvement will help pave the way for other local authorities to take action against the threat of climate change."
