THE witching hour uis almost upon us!
A re-creation of Lancaster's own Witchfinder, Thomas Covell, Keeper of Lancaster Castle in 1612 at the time of the Lancashire Witch Trials, will be entertaining the public, accompanied by musical group, Diabolus in Musica, in his former home, Lancaster's Judges' Lodgings, on Saturday, September 16.
The Museum on Church Street will be open from 11am to 5pm, with free admission as part of a series of nationwide Heritage Open Days over that weekend. On the Sunday the museum will be open for complimentary guided tours of the building and Victorian school room sessions.
