THE COUNCIL'S chief finance officer Roger Muckle has been appointed to the new position of corporate director (central services)
A qualified accountant with two children and 27 years' experience at the council, Mr Muckle said he was delighted at his appointment and was looking forward to helping the authority modernise.
There are currently two other senior posts up for grabs as the authority continues its reconstruction under new chief executive, Mark Cullinan, and they are corporate director (regeneration services) and corporate director (community services).
It is expected that these posts will be filled by a Friday September 29.
