THIS year's Autumn exhibition at the Ashton Memorial features two artists from the Fylde area - Marie Donaldson and Graham Jones. The exhibition featuring studies in natural history and fine art landscapes shows the perfect combination of two talented artists working in harmony.
Jones is a member of the Wildlife Art Society and will be exhibiting a selection of breath-taking studies of birds and animals. He will also be showing several detailed botanical studies of plants from the region.
The fine detail in Marie Donaldson's flower and landscape paintings reflect her keen interest in nature and landscapes of the North West. Marie studied at Blackpool School of Art in the mid 40s and has been a long-standing member of the Blackpool Art Society.
"Two in Harmony" opens on September 24 and continues until the November 12.
