ROSSENDALE United go to Cheadle tomorrow looking for their first NW Counties League Division One win under new boss Jim McCluskie, who described landing the Dark Lane post as a dream come true.
"It's my local club and I've always kept a keen interest in Rossendale over the years. I've always played my football away but to get this opportunity is a dream come true," said McCluskie, who replaced Micky Graham a couple of weeks ago.
Rossendale have gone through a major face-lift off the field and McCluskie is now hoping to bring the playing success to match.
"I have never shirked a challenge and hopefuly I can take this club places where I have played non-league football," added the former Southport and Morecambe striker. McCluskie isn't planning any major changes, although is in talks with one potential transfer target, Clitheroe's Gary Rishton.
