CLITHEROE have a huge incentive to get through FA Cup first qualifying round at Warrington Town tomorrow -- a home tie against UniBond Premier side Hyde United.

"That is a big incentive but we are not thinking about that yet, it's Warrington first," said manager Dave Burgess. "They are a Second Division side, but it's at their place and they will be keen to get one over on us."

Clitheroe suffered a major blow with the loss of skipper Gary Rishton, who, as a Rossendale lad, has joined Jim McCluskie at Rossendale United.

"He was the captain and obviously we will miss him. But no one is irreplaceable and we'll get on with it."

Striker Lee Cryer is a doubt with a recurrence of a hamstring strain while Andy Cowking took a knock in the midweek draw at Skelmersdale.

New signing Chris Whittingham is likely to feature after missing the start of the season through suspension and Mark Stewart could also play a part.
