GLAM punksters King Adora are set to release their third single, Smoulder, on October 23 before taking their massive rock classics and glamour out on the road.

Released on Superior Quality Recordings as a limited seven-inch (1,000 copies), Smoulder is backed with new song Ego and additional new track Loved.

Recorded at the Sawmill Studios, the track was produced by John Cornfield, who will also be working on their debut album, which is slated for release early next year.

The band, Matt Browne (vocals/guitar), Martyn Nelson (guitar/vocals), Robbie G (bass), Dan Dabrowski (drums), caused so much excitement with early demos that they were championed almost instantly.

Disproving claims that they were just another over-hyped outfit, the scorching debut single Bionic and a string of explosive gigs have earned them a devoted and excitable fan base.

Second single Big Isn't Beautiful sold double their debut and, like its predecessor, is now a sought-after collector's item.

Not only do the audiences love them, but so do Mansun. Paul Draper and the lads played a handful of low-key festival warm-up dates in August, before inviting the young hopefuls on their autumn tour as main support.

Their glitterpunk fury can be seen when they play the Liverpool Lomax on October 17 and with Mansun on November 1 at the Manchester Academy.
