POTTY thieves in Lancaster made a clean sweep after hot footing it away with a terracotta chimney pot from the rear yard of a terraced house. After tipping out the flowers the thief made his escape. A suspicious character in the area at the time is described as a white male in his 20s, medium build, short dark hair with a fringe, clean shaven, wearing a light turquoise anorak with orange lining. He spoke with a broad Lancashire accent.
