THE offers of a £200 prize for the speedy return of electoral roll slips does not surprise me in the least.

The reason must be a very marked reluctance by our citizens to return them and for obvious reasons.

The fact is that NONE of the main parties are fit to rule and the electorate feels it would be a waste of time even going to the polls!

My opinion is that everyone should vote, but upon getting a voting slip they should write 'not fit to rule' and post it in the box.

This especially applies to all pensioners who have been treated with contempt.
