I READ an article about the death of Diana Brown in last week's newspaper (Citizen, September 14) and felt sorry for her death. However, I was shocked when I read the following sentence, "But, if God is not a rugby league fan, he soon will be now that he has Diana to put him on the right track."
I understand that he (John Schofield, from Leyland Warriors) was absolutely heartbroken over her death, however, this does not justify blaspheming God Almighty. If someone insulted our parents, we would be furious whereas we should be more furious if someone insulted our God, who we love more than anyone else.
God Almighty is not unaware of what some people do or write. He defers their punishment until the Day of Judgement.
