AT least nine lorry drivers from East Lancashire were among 75 Britons caught up in a border blockade which threatened to erupt in violence.
The truckers were stranded on the border between France and Spain as Spanish drivers protested against soaring fuel prices.
Reports said several vehicles had been damaged and drivers threatened.
