LOCAL people interested in the Pendle Witches have been invited to a witchy weekend in Pendle to celebrate Hallowe'en.
The 17th century evening will include a candlelit buffet in a hall specially decorated for the celebration and will include the Speke Hall Renaissance Players who perform with lutes, recorders and Glastonbury pipes.
"We want to recreate the atmosphere of the time in every way," said Fiona Holland, one of the staff organising the event. "We hope that visitors will free to join in the fun by acting like 17th century guests including eating with their fingers!"
All proceeds of the weekend will go to the Heritage Trust for the North West, which preserves historic buildings.
To book a place call Pendle Heritage Centre on 01282 661702.
