HAYDOCK Finance, the Blackburn-based business and consumer finance company, celebrated its 20th anniversary with more than 300 guests at a dinner at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors.
The firm's co-founder and managing director, Jon Wilkinson, was host for the evening and guests represented a cross-section of UK industry. There were also directors from Blackburn Rovers and Burnley football clubs.
Mr Wilkinson and Haydock chairman Hamish Grossart praised the "family feel" of the company and paid tribute to the loyalty of its staff. Mr Wilkinson also emphasised the strong growth of the business.
Mike King, the comedian and after-dinner speaker, and Ian Shuttleworth, a Leeds solicitor and raconteur, entertained the guests.
