A BEGGAR pulled out a four-inch blade and robbed a young man after he refused to give him any money in Peter Street, Blackpool, on October 4.

The young man was stopped between 3.30 and 4.30pm by an unwashed and unshaven man who asked for ten pence.

When the man refused and walked away he was tapped on the shoulder only to turn round and see the beggar holding the knife.

The beggar then reached into the man's jacket and stole his "Kickers" wallet containing £10 cash and personal papers before pushing the man in chest and making off.

He is described as male, 25-28 years old, 5ft 8ins tall with shoulder length hair, wearing a black bobble hat, red sweater, grubby white tracksuit bottoms and a grubby white Kappa jacket.

He spoke with a London accent. A CALLOUS thief has robbed a 75-year-old lady of a £300 gold bracelet after sneaking into her house on October 10.

At around 7am, the burglar sneaked into the house on Woodlands Road, Lytham, by climbing through an open window.

He then took the bracelet, £5 in cash and a blue and white piggy bank before the owner disturbed him and he ran off through the front door.

He is described as 17-19 years old, 5ft 8ins tall, slim with short blond hair combed upwards at the front and wearing a dark navy waterproof or waxed waist-length cotton jacket.

TWO youths wearing home-made face masks and brandishing 12-inch wooden truncheons burst into Susandy Off Licence, Easington Crescent, Blackpool, in a failed bid to rob the store.

At around 10pm on October 11 the two would-be robbers entered the store screaming and started to hit the till with their home-made weapons.

They fled after one member of staff pressed the panic button while another shouted at them.

They are both described as between 15-17 years old and 5ft 4ins tall, with one described as slim and wearing a red chequered shirt and the other as wearing a black sweatshirt.
