PACKAGING, waste and producer legislation will come under the microscope at a seminar next week.
Bury's Business Environment Association (BEA) is holding the event at its headquarters in Link House.
The seminar will take place next Thursday (Oct 26) between 3.30-5.20pm and a buffet will be included.
Speaker Mike Thorpe, waste licensing officer with the Environment Agency, will address the audience on current packaging waste regulations.
And Howard Thorpe, regional waste officer with the same Agency, will highlight new packaging directives.
Bury Council's trading standards manager Peter Jagger will brief delegates about the Packaging (Essential Requirements) Regulations 1998.
A question and answer session will follow. For more details and to book a place, contact Emma Critchley at Bury BEA on 763 4185.
