A LANCASHIRE five-piece are preparing to conquer the world -- starting off with America.

Treehouse 3 this week revealed they will kick off the new year in America after signing a management deal there.

They will embark on a mammoth six-month tour taking in all of North America, hoping to entertain music lovers with their classy sound.

The break for the band came last month, as band member Seamus McLoughlin told Pulse this week.

Seamus said: "We have been to America several times and we have finally managed to wrap up a management deal in Los Angeles.

"It is great news for us and we can't wait to get to America to start playing. We are hoping something really big comes from this."

He added: "In terms of being our break, we couldn't have asked for anything better. Six months seems like a long time but it will give us time to establish ourselves and hopefully build up a following out there."

Their sound may not be that unfamiliar to the critical American public.

Seamus added: "We have various influences, including REM and Counting Crows, but like everyone else we are our own group and we hope people like what they hear."

The American market has become notoriously difficult for British outfits to conquer. Even some of Britain's biggest names have struggled to crack it over there.

But talent from Lancashire seems to be hot property over there. News of Treehouse 3's chance stateside comes just a week after Lancashire lass Sophie McDonnell, who is in sophisticated pop outfit Precious, revealed they went down a storm during a whirlwind American tour.

Treehouse 3's management deal is with the Los Angeles-based Triune Music Group. The group are also hoping for a couple of support slots with some big names.

Seamus added: "Nothing is confirmed for us yet in that respect but the tour is being pieced together and the management seem very keen for us to get out there.

"We have been working on this for a long while now and have travelled to America several times in the hope of getting something like this.

"We finally signed the deal last month."

The band won support from music fans when they travelled to America before. They also won acclaim after being aired on Steve Lamacq's Evening session on Radio One.
