BLACKBURN HAWKS 6, KINGSTON JETS 3 (English National League)
ICE HOCKEY: Blackburn Hawks have put their early season problems behind them and confidence is soaring down at the Arena. Two home games last time out brought a narrow cup defeat by Premier League opposition, and a superb triumph over rivals Kingston, to clinch maximum league points.
Hawks went down 5-7 to Invicta Dynamos from Gillingham but the next day's English League action saw the Hawks sweep to a revenge victory over Kingston Jets. A physical tussle resulted in a 6-3 triumph for Haig's squad. On Sunday the Hawks host Whitley Bay in an English National League fixture. Face off at the Arena is 6pm.
