IN appalling conditions the under 13s once again showed magnificent handling, with three of their tries featuring up to nine players handling the ball across the field.
To their credit, Oldham, didn't give up and went over for their try in the last minutes of the first half -- much to the annoyance of a well-drilled defence.
David Lowe was the One Stop Convenience Store man of the match for St Helens.
Try scorers were Scott Holland (3), David Lowe (2) and Paddy Flynn. Vonversions were added by Ste Bannister (2) and Scott Holland.
Other players of note were Sam Melia and Martyn Bradshaw.

The under 11s also showed great ball-handling skills in atrocious weather conditions.
Try scorers were captain Gareth Frodsham, who led by example throughout, Ashburn Alexander Finance man-of-the-match Sean Forber, who scored a hat-trick and a goal and Matthew Holding. Jamie Foster added four goals.
Top tacklers were Chris McGrath and Matthew Holding. Gary Wheeler, Phil Whyte and Andy Donovan also caught the eye.
