YMCA comfortably kept their unbeaten record in tact despite atrocious conditions. Despite facing the elements in the first half they still had the edge and reached half-time 1-0 ahead through a strike from Rick Seear. Although Wyre battled spiritedly after the restart they never looked like preventing YMCA taking an unassailable lead. Seear notched three more goals to bring his match-tally to four. Luke Andrews and Aaron Kitchin completing the scoring. Lee Thompson and Ryan Colwell both impressed in YMCA's rearguard. WYRE JUNIORS U12s 2 YMCA 2

WYRE were well in control of the half and reached half-time 2-0 ahead. However, after the restart YMCA began to force themselves back into the game and Dominic Jones reduced the deficit. They had a goal disallowed but completed a creditable draw with an equaliser when the ball from Adam Stewart's 25-yard free kick slithered through the home keeper's hands and into the net. Notable for YMCA in difficult conditions were Marc Dwyer and keeper Nathan Cowburn.

DESPITE facing the blustery wind in the first half YMCA were generally in control and two strikes by Alan O'Laughlin and one from Gerry Gregoire gave them a 3-0 interval lead. After the break YMCA completely dominated their opponents who only had 10 players throughout, and six further goals were added at regular intervals. O'Laughlin netted twice more to give him four for the game with Andy Harvie, Aled Crawforth, Scott Park and Carl Bennett all on target also.
