STRANGE goings at the Judges' Lodgings brought magic and mysticism to the old rooms last weekend.
Witches potions were handed out to trainee ghouls and goblins as lights flickered through the teeth of pumpkins in the windows, and even a descendent of the Pendle area, Joanne Braithwaite was on hand with her trusty rat to make sure the day went with a shiver.
The famous Pendle witch Demdyke brought along all sorts of weird and wonderful things like maggots, insects and eyeballs, to help cast spells and make up potions!
Everyone who took part in the spooky, Hallowe'en activities agreed that the day was a hoot!
