MORE than 100 pupils from Rossall School in Fleetwood invaded the Pleasure Beach recently in their annual autumn visit to the park.
Head of the middle school, Mark Eddon, said the night out at the Pleasure Beach has become something of a tradition. He said: "Managing director Geoffrey Thompson's son Nick was a pupil at Rossall, as is Nick's son. The visit is Nick's way of remembering the school."
The pupils, aged 11-13, began the night with rides on some of the park's top attractions, such as the Big One, before settling down to watch the Hot Ice show and finishing up with hot dogs and drinks.
Mr Eddon said: "The children love it as they get to completely take over some of the rides with their mates. It gives them a chance to spend an evening with all of their friends at school, something they might never get the chance to do otherwise."
