BIG MONEY MAN: West Brom broke their transfer record in the summer when they won the race to sign powerful striker Jason Roberts from Bristol Rovers for £2 million. He has responded with seven goals in League and Cup.

LAST SIX RESULTS: Grimsby Town (A) lost 2-0; Wimbledon (H) won 3-1 (Roberts, Van Blerk, Sneekes); Tranmere (A) drew 2-2 (Hughes, Roberts); Wolves (H) won 1-0 (Hughes); Norwich City (H) lost 2-3 (Clement, Hughes); Shef Wed (A) won 1-2 (Roberts 2)

THIS SEASON SO FAR: After a slow start to the season, the Baggies have made rapid strides up the table to claim a top-six spot before they were dislodged by Burnley in mid-week. They have been beaten twice at home but five wins and just one draw gives them a useful points tally.

MANAGER: Fiery redhead Gary Megson took charge in March and kept West Brom out of the drop zone. The former Norwich and Blackpool manager was unlucky to lose his previous job at Stoke following the Icelandic takeover.TOP SCORER: The highly-rated strike partnership of Lee Hughes and Jason Roberts has delivered the goods with 14 goals between them so far in League and cup. However, Hughes misses tomorrow's game through suspension.

PREDICTED LINE-UP: West Brom are forced to make one change from the side that lost at Grimsby last weekend. Lee Hughes is banned and will be replaced by Bob Taylor. Skipper Derek McInnes, a summer transfer target for Burnley, is still out injured.

ONE TO WATCH: Former Norwich and Newcastle winger Ruel Fox has been a shrewd signing from Spurs but experienced striker Bob Taylor could be a key man. The Baggies legend, in his second spell with the club, will have a rare chance to start and will be champing at the bit.

DID YOU KNOW? West Brom celebrated 100 years of football at the Hawthorns earlier this season. The party went with a swing thanks to a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace thanks to a goal from Derek McInnes.
