IN 1944 I was stationed in Chorley with a unit of the United States Army Air Corps for several weeks.
During that time I made the acquaintance of a young lady Betty Forshaw.
She lived in Railway Road. We become very good friends.
The last I heard from her after I was returned to the U.S, she had married and gone to Glasgow.
I often think of her and would like to get in touch with her if she is still alive.
Perhaps if you put a notice in your paper, someone would have news about her.
