BACUP: Brent Peters is looking to bring a bit of long overdue cup success to West View when his side takes on Castleton Gabriels in the NWCFL Second Division Trophy tomorrow.
Peters has previously lifted the trophy when manager of Glossop and also guided Rossendale to a cup triumph.
He said: "We seem to have a bit of a cup hoodoo here at Bacup since I came. We seem to go out in the early rounds and I have got to try and put a stop to that."
Fifth-placed Castleton are nine places better off than Bacup in the league but Peters believes his side will make progress once they stop conceding goals.
Peters has a full squad to select from bar Paul Lyons, who is being rested for a spell to fully recover from a knee injury.
