THE big derby game in the North West Counties League Division One features high-flying Clitheroe against up-and-coming Ramsbottom.

Clitheroe enjoyed ten straight victories at the beginning of the season but have lost the last two league games. They are desperate to get back on the winning track tomorrow.

Ramsbottom have recovered from an inconsistent start to the season to win their last three league games and want revenge for the 1-0 reverse against Clitheroe at the Riverside earlier this season.

However there will be a late pitch inspection at Shaw Bridge.

Clitheroe manager Dave Burgess said his side were desperate to play. "I suppose another week without playing could be a good thing to give some of the players an extra few days' rest. But we really want to play after losing our last two. We want to get going again. Ramsbottom are a good side. We beat them 1-0 earlier in the season but they gave us a tough game. They've had some mixed results and they will be hoping to win to close the gap on us."

Ramsbottom boss Ken Bridge hopes to give debuts to Barry White, signed from Colne last week and full back Phil Porter from Mossley who joined last night. Mike Langhorn returns after injury. HOPEFUL Ken Bridge HOPEFUL:
