WE are now going into November and still nothing has been done to the site where One Stop was and which has now been demolished.
On the notice at the side of the road it states that completion of the site was scheduled for summer 2000. I wonder have they got the year wrong?
This part of Radcliffe has been much improved over the last few months and it therefore seems a shame that this site is spoiling the area and the entrance to the Lock Keeper restaurant. It seems yet again that all the funds are being spent in Bury town centre. Surely such a small area as this could soon be sorted out without great cost to the council.
