REGARDING the row about having our wheelie bins emptied (LET, November 8), I am a pensioner and live just two doors below Crompton Place, in Blackburn.
My bin is taken down to Ribblesdale Place and never returned to my back door.
But for the kindness of a lady who lives in Worston Place, it would stay there until I and my husband try to get it.
Also, I have had neighbours who place rubbish in my bin, which I don't mind, but what happens if this makes the lid more than 45 degrees ajar?
Could the bin men not replace these bins, as I see they do in Darwen.
