REGARDING 'Fear for the future' (Letters, November 8), I too have this fear and I thank Ernie Bates for his remarks and you for printing them.
What is happening to our country today through bad government is despicable and an insult to all those who fought and died in two world wars.
Today, we are fighting a different kind of war -- for the survival of our English heritage.
So, come on all you business people and town halls, fly our Union Jack and be proud to do so and let the politicians know what we want for our country, not what suits them -- before it's too late.
