TRAVELLING from Scarborough to Torquay for a game postponed a couple of hours before kick-off is bad enough.

But spare a thought for the long-distance fan who had booked his flights to jet in from the Middle-East to watch Chelsea versus Leeds United on Saturday.

It was only on a live radio phone-in to Tom 'Lofty' Watt that he was informed the game had been put back 24 hours for live coverage by Sky.

The air was subsequently turned blue but under the circumstances Watt excused the hapless punter for his use of 'Anglo-Saxon' as he rushed off to change his air ticket.
