THE futures of Leigh Centurions' young stars Stuart Donlan and Mick Higham should be decided on Wednesday.

Leigh and Halifax officials, the players and their representatives are appearing in front of an arbitration panel at RL headquarters in Leeds in a bid to find an amicable solution to a transfer saga that's dragged on since August.

Full-back Donlan and hooker Higham both opted to exercise clauses in their contracts to talk to any interested Super League club after the Centurions lost their Northern Ford Premiership Grand Final.

Halifax made a move and it is understood that both players agreed terms with the New Shay club. But Leigh refused to accept the Blue Sox offer of three players in exchange and Halifax would not meet Leigh's asking prices of £10,000 for Donlan and £40,000 for Higham.

The panel is empowered to make a binding ruling.
