FORMER Rovers captain Colin Hendry has been dropped by Scotland for their friendly against Australia at Hampden Park tonight.
However, the out-of-favour Coventry defender will not take Craig Brown's decision personally.
And the 34-year-old is determined he will not be giving up his chance to join the Scotland Hall of Fame for which he needs just two more caps.
"I'm sure people will think it is the end because I have been left out and I am coming up for 35," Hendry said.
"But let me assure you that if Craig calls me I will always be there. I'm not the type to call it a day.
"As long as I am a footballer I will be available for Scotland. The only way I can see that stopping is if I move into management.
"Craig asked me what I thought, and I told him it wasn't a problem if I was left out."
