A BURY shop has abandoned its traditional festive window display in the name of charity.
But The Early Learning Centre, based on The Rock, is to rely on the borough's youngsters to keep the Christmas flavour on show.
They are being invited to decorate their own 'Christmas Stars' for display in the store.
The company will donate 10p to the NSPCC for every star decorated for the shop.
Children who then spot their stars hanging in the window will be eligible for a prize.
The cut-out stars are available from the store for children to decorate at home or at one of the centre's weekly playtime sessions held every Tuesday morning.
