JULIA Hartley of Accrington Road Runners and Brenda Fullard of Blackburn Road Runners were the pick of the local ladies in the Llandudno 10M.
Julia placed 27 of 203 women, with veteran Brenda 57th.
Neil Holding of West Pennine Runners and Mark Roberts of Blackburn Road Runners logged 63:54 and 65:22, while Mark's team mate John Mitchell, aged 58, would have been pleased to finish ahead of 62 year old Ron Hill.
