A NIGHTCLUB owner threatened to pull the plug on Christmas festivities if magistrates refused to grant extra drinking time.
Margaret Grimshaw, co-owner of the Lodestar at Ribchester, told the court at Clitheroe there would be no point in organising the seasonal celebrations if they had to close early.
