THORNTON CLEVELEYS A U10s 3 BJFF A 1

A WELL fought game between two good sides on a remarkably good pitch at Bispham Gala Field.

BJFF took the lead after only two minutes but the Tigers kept their head and gradually began to make an impression on the game with Stevie Wilson sound in goal and Robbie Highfield and Matty Wood solid in defence. Alex Smith and Mark Wild started to make play with Adam Richardson and Dane England up front.

The equaliser came two minutes before half-time when Dane England beat the keeper after a fine run down the left wing. In the second half the Tigers took the lead when Matty Wood's defence splitting pass found Dane England who calmly beat the impressive Daniel Gorman in goal.

The Tigers sealed the victory five minutes from time when Adam Richardson's run resulted in him scoring the clincher. Man of the match was Matty Wood. THORNTON CLEVELEYS U11s 0 CLIFTON RANGERS 4
